BOOK IS OUT and other things
Hi. It’s me, Paul LeCrone. This is my newsletter. In this newsletter, I share SEVEN THINGS (no more, no less) that I’m enjoying and pondering. Yeah it’s a total ripoff of 5 bullet Friday, but hey, I bet you didn’t know that Friday is spelled きんようび in Japanese.
Oh and by the way, I made a BOOK. You can buy the book with money here.
Fans of Adam Curtis will know this one. Check out these hot lyrics.
I keep repeating - for ten times and over and over again: Nobody knows how fucking bad I feel now And the TV is hanging from the ceiling And no one knows how fucking bad I feel now And I'm so goddamn sick and tired of it all That it makes me wanna start This poem again, it's so sad that I Repeat again: how fucking bad I feel now
This book is about the transformations of the constituent psychic representation of the self, the ego, and the unconscious in their imagistic forms as represented by the symbol of the fish through Christianity’s integration, or perhaps coincidental representation of astrological thought. Oh, and the antichrist - Uh, I think.
I just started reading Aion a few days ago. Cut me some slack. Jung is hard.
Here’s me, showing you how hard it is to talk about Jung (especially when you’re in the middle of reading one of his books)
I’ll have something more intelligent to say about this book once I’m finished. Or maybe I won’t, because, again, Jung is hard. And talking about Jung is even harder.
(I don’t know who my audience is. Talking about Carl Jung and Mega64 and Internet Content Blogging and Anime all in 1 newsletter. It’s a dumpster fire here.)
It is said that no tree can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell
Carl Jung (in Aion)
"Just because god is dead doesn't mean you should get your septum pierced and cover yourself with tattoos."
Good Fucking Food
My girlfriend cooked an amazing Salmon curry. No pictures because digital minimalism :) But just imagine a curry made with salmon and a crap ton of vegetables.
Here’s a moment, 365 days in the making: I wrote everyday for a year. I made a book out of some of the best of what I wrote. In the year that I’ve been Doing Stuff in Public, I’ve met some super rad people. Thanks to everyone who’s supported me in whatever the hell it is that I do because I can’t quite put a name to it. Cheers.
END OF NEWSLETTER.
Thanks for reading. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday.
